カルネ デクアトゥール（赤道直下のスケッチ）というシリーズの花器です。

金彩は、大抵色を合わせることが難しいのですが、
今回は特にうまくいきました。

虎の絵は可能な限りオリジナルを残せるよう、最小範囲、手数で仕上げております。

地震の際に倒れてしまい、破損してしまったとのことでした。
持ち主様にもお喜びいただけたとのことで、
お力になることができ、嬉しく思います。

〜 Restoration of a Hermès Vase 〜

This vase is from Hermès’ Carnets d’Équateur (“Sketches from the Equator”) collection.

Matching the original gold detailing is often challenging, but this time, I was particularly pleased with the result.

For the tiger illustration, I kept the restoration area and intervention to a minimum, preserving as much of the original artwork as possible.

The vase had fallen and broken during an earthquake.

I was delighted to hear that the owner was happy with the finished restoration. It was a pleasure to help bring this beautiful piece back to life.
