〜リアドロ修復〜

久しぶりにリアドロの投稿です。
日本語表記ですと、愛犬とドライブという作品です。
男の子の首が破損していました。

破損範囲はそんなに広くないのですが、
その分、オリジナルをどれだけ残せるかというプレッシャーがありました。

オリジナルを可能な限り残し、最大限目立たなくする、
ということは杉山修復スタジオの修復では肝です。

価値の高いお品や古いお品の場合、
オリジナルを可能な限り残したいというご要望は少なくないので、
とても大切なことです。

〜 Lladró Restoration 〜

It’s been a while since our last Lladró post!

This piece is titled Out for a Spin. The boy’s neck had been broken.

Although the damaged area was relatively small, that brought its own challenge: preserving as much of the original as possible.

Preserving as much of the original as we can while making the repair as inconspicuous as possible is a fundamental part of our approach at Sugiyama Restoration Studio.

This is especially important when working with valuable or antique pieces, as many owners wish to retain as much of the original as possible.
