Restoration of an Ame-no-Uzume Figurine

We restored a figurine depicting Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto, a goddess from Japanese mythology.

When we received the piece, it was extremely fragile, with cracks, surface flaking, and areas of deterioration and collapse throughout.

Our restoration focused on preserving the unique patina and texture developed over many years, while restoring the overall harmony of the piece.
