〜シーサーの修復〜
素焼きのシーサーです。
とても相談の多いお品です。
お家の守り神ですので、やはり立派な姿ですね。
全体的に割れがありましたが、接着と樹脂成形で元の凛々しい姿になりました。
今後も、魔を除け、守り神として佇んでくれそうです。

〜Shisa Restoration〜

This is an unglazed ceramic Shisa, a traditional Okinawan guardian figure.

Shisa are among the pieces we are most often asked to restore.
As guardians of the home, they have such a proud and dignified presence.

This piece had several cracks and breaks throughout, but through careful bonding and resin reconstruction, we were able to restore its original strong and noble appearance.

May it continue to stand watch, warding off evil and protecting the home for many years to come.
