上品な透け感が魅力のお品です。
アラバスター独特の斑らな透け感が肝です。

ときおり今回のようにパテを作成することがあります。
手間はかかりますが、色味や透け感を調整できるのは良いですね。

難しい部類の修復ですが、大変勉強になります。

~ Restoration of an Alabaster Table Lamp ~

This piece is characterized by its elegant translucency.
The key is recreating the distinctive, mottled translucency unique to alabaster.

From time to time, as in this case, I create a custom filler for the restoration.
It takes extra time and effort, but being able to adjust both the color and translucency is a great advantage.

This is one of the more challenging types of restoration, but it is also a valuable learning experience.
