〜Kintsugi Restoration of a Teacup〜

We were entrusted with a piece made by the client’s son—the very first piece of pottery he had ever created.
Upon seeing the finished restoration, he was apparently delighted, saying, “It’s worth even more now!”
As we communicated entirely by mail, I wasn’t able to hand it back to him in person, but
what a wonderful way of seeing things.
As a craftsman, nothing makes me happier than knowing that the spirit of kintsugi came through.
