久しぶりに金継ぎのご紹介です。
欠けからヒヒが伸びている、金継ぎの際によくご相談頂く形です。

ヒビがこれ以上伸びないよう下処理はしっかりと行います。

金継ぎは、欠けたこと・割れたことは受け容れた上で、
元とは別の姿で美しく魅せる修復方法です。

Kintsugi: A Bowl with a Chipped Rim
It has been a while since I last shared a Kintsugi piece. A very common request I receive involves repairs where a crack has extended from a chip.
I take great care in the preparation process to ensure that the crack does not spread any further.
The piece turned out beautifully. Kintsugi is a method of restoration that accepts the damage—the chips and cracks—and transforms them into a new, beautiful form, rather than simply trying to "restore" it to the original state. I hope you will consider this as a unique option for your own pieces.
